I’m a writer and cultural critic and Assistant Professor of Culture and Media Studies at  The New School for Liberal Arts. My research investigates the role of print cultures in contemporary social movements, the aesthetic and political uses of the archive, and the poetics of everyday life.  Books include The Archival Turn in Feminism: Outrage in Order (Temple UP, 2013) and Adjusted Margin: Copy Machines and the Making of Public Cultures (forthcoming in 2015).  I am also the author of two literary collections, Fieldnotes, a forensic (2010) and Fond (2008), and co-editor of Prismatic Publics (2009).  Over the past two decades,  I  have lived and worked in cities across North America.
